Salon Liability Wavier

Deacon Hair Company is doing everything we can to protect you, our client, our community, and our staff. To this extent, we follow the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and Ohio State Board of Cosmetology (OSBOC) guidelines with regard to social distancing practices and sanitation in order to reduce the spread of infectious disease including COVID-19. To meet new safety guidelines we have received additional certification and training. We have also made adjustments to our process including the following procedures, and policies.

Procedures:

  • Expect to attend future appointments alone unless you’re under age or need an aid. 

    (this helps us maintain our 8 person salon capacity)

  • You must remain in your vehicle until we notify you to enter. Doors will remained locked as we will be operating on an appointment only basis. 

    (this gives us a chance to completely sanitize the space before and after each client)

  • We ask that you bring an over the ear mask to wear during your appointment.

    (we will be wearing ours as well)

  • Upon arrival you will be asked to answer a brief health questionnaire. 

  • Wash your hands immediately upon entering & cleanse cellphone with wipes provided. 

  • As always we will continue washing our hands, tools, capes, and sanitizing our space before/after each client. 

  • We have additionally tasked our assistants with sanitation schedules moving forward. 

Policies:

  • If you are feeling sick or have been in contact with someone sick please reach out immediately to reschedule. (No Call No Show Receives fee 75% of scheduled service)

  • To minimize contact on shared devices we will be primarily accepting cash and checks. If you have to use a credit card there will be an additional fee. 

  • Bring your own drink or snack as we are no longer able to provide refreshments.

  • As our salon home is cozy in space expect scheduling availability to be limited.

  • We are unable to accept returns at this time.

Failure to comply with these written instructions or verbal instructions from staff may result in refusal of service.
